Applications opened on August 1, 2026 and will close on September 30, 2026.

Who Can Apply?

According to Engen DRC, applicants must be 28 years old or younger, hold a BAC+5 qualification or equivalent, and have completed their university studies with an academic result of at least 65%.

Candidates must also have obtained their degree within the two years preceding the call for applications.

Applicants are expected to be bilingual in French and English, have good computer skills and be residents of either Kinshasa or Grand Katanga.

The location requirement is particularly important. For this first edition, Engen DRC says the programme is limited to eligible residents of those two areas.

Engen also encourages applications from diverse backgrounds, including women, people with reduced mobility, Indigenous communities and people living with albinism.

Fields Available

The programme accepts graduates from both technical and corporate-support disciplines.

Available areas include accounting, financial analysis, audit and internal control, procurement, sales and marketing, human resources, transport, distribution, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, civil engineering, information technology, environmental engineering, materials engineering, and oil and gas.

This makes the programme relevant to young professionals seeking opportunities across several parts of the energy business.

What Participants Will Receive

Engen DRC describes the initiative as a 12-month first professional experience.

Participants will work in a structured professional environment and gain exposure to the tools, methods and workplace practices used within the company.

The programme is expected to provide practical immersion in the petroleum sector, coaching from industry professionals, professional development and a final evaluation.

Successful completion may create opportunities for future employment with Engen, but participation should not be interpreted as a guarantee of a permanent job.

Documents Required

Applicants are required to submit a motivation letter, a CV, a copy of a valid identity document and copies of their diplomas.

The motivation letter and CV may be prepared in French and/or English.

Engen says original diplomas will be requested from candidates who are eventually selected.

Applicants should ensure that their CV clearly shows their degree, graduation date, academic results, language abilities and any relevant internships, projects or work experience.

How to Apply

Applications must be sent to the official Vivo Energy recruitment email:

[email protected]

Candidates should prepare all required documents, verify that they meet the age, education, academic-result and residence requirements, and send the complete application before September 30, 2026.

Applicants are advised not to wait until the final day in case of email or attachment problems.

Recruitment Timeline

Applications run from August 1 to September 30, 2026.

Candidate selection is expected in October 2026, followed by tests and interviews in November 2026.

The programme is scheduled to begin in January 2027, with selected graduates completing the 12-month professional internship.

Is the Programme Paid?

Engen DRC’s official programme page does not specify whether participants will receive a salary, stipend or monthly allowance.

Applicants should therefore avoid relying on unofficial claims about compensation and should confirm any pay or benefits directly with Engen DRC during the recruitment process.

No Application Fee Announced

Engen DRC does not state any application fee for the programme.

Candidates should be cautious of anyone asking for money in exchange for submitting an application, obtaining an interview or guaranteeing selection.

Applications should be sent only through the official corporate recruitment channel.

Opportunity for Young Congolese Graduates

The Youth Talent Programme may be particularly valuable for young Congolese graduates looking for their first structured professional experience in the energy sector.

Because the programme covers disciplines ranging from engineering and IT to finance, logistics and human resources, it offers opportunities for graduates with very different academic backgrounds.

Eligible candidates in Kinshasa and Grand Katanga have until September 30, 2026 to apply.
